Huge update with pics galore!

As promised, this update is chock full of pictures and news! Yesterday I took Project9 to get dynoed by Derrick at ART so we had a baseline idea of how much power we're making as is. As of right now, the car makes 350whp and 370wtq with only the basics: intake, 3" exhaust with HKS Super Drager system and catalytic converter, and Boost Logic built automatic transmission. This car is mostly stock still, and even with 90˚F outside temps and nearly 10:1 air fuel ratio, it still pulls quite nicely! See for yourself:

Impressive? Maybe not, but obviously there's easily 30-50+ HP that is within reach with more timing and less fuel. All we did was strap it to the dyno to see what it would put down as is. Why bother messing with it when there's so much in store? What might that include? Well here, check it out for yourself!

An entire plethora of Supra upgrades!! Where do I even start?

First off, check out the TiAL MV-R and everything it comes with! There's simply no bigger or better name in the wastegate market than TiAL, with Precision as a close second. V-band clamps, fittings, an extra flange, directions, assorted colored wastegate springs (you can mix and match to have a set wastegate pressure), and of course the MV-R itself. As a new addition, the MV-R is also optionally water cooled!

Up next is the oil drain setup we supply with our turbo kits:

Overkill? Nonsense! Although it is possible to feed too much oil into a turbo, you want to get the oil returned as soon and as quickly as you can once it has finished its lubricating job. With our setup, you wont have to worry about oil backing up and not draining quickly enough. We also scored this TOM'S radiator cap!

This thing is so JDM, I can only read what chassis' it will fit! Looks to be pretty much any Toyota. We also have some shots of our new ProTorque manifold! For an inexpensive single turbo setup and external wastegate, we're happy to offer this now in addition to our QuickSilver lineup. We dont expect to get quite as much power with it, but this 12.5 lb cast log manifold is cheaper than a tubular one and will do for now, especially after a little more work is done with it.

Here's our 4.5 lb, 3" downpipe, that we will be using as well (optional in turbo kits):

No small, sketchy photos from us! This polished stainless masterpiece is beautiful, has beautiful welds, and is mandrel bent for the best flow you could ask for. We love showing off our parts so you know exactly what you're getting!

For instance, here's our colorful and top notch SupraStore -10 oil cooler and filter relocation kit:

I can't wait to install it on our car. No more cut up, nasty greasy arms trying to reach up and unscrew that less-than-user-friendly oil filter now! Even in hot, humid, and sweaty Florida, our oil temps will stay low. Not bad for only 9.5 additional lbs.

Of course, I had to save the best for last! At 19 lbs, this is by far the best part I picked up: an 11-bladed, billet wheel, polished compressor housing, ceramic coated exhaust housing, Borg-Warner S366!!

Ever wonder what the inside of a turbo looks like? Here's the compressor side:

...and the turbine side:

There are multiple markings on the turbine housing to let us know that this is a .91 A/R housing, which should give us 800rwhp+ without taking too long to hit that boost threshold!! Big thanks to Kirk at Boost Lab for helping us out!

Had enough pictures yet? Okay, okay. I was eager to show off everything I could, and I know some people have been curious to see what it looks like in a turbo. Not to mention, make you as jealous as I am for this wicked turbo! I very much look forward to installing it, though I certainly am not thrilled about having to remove the stock twins, as disassembly is a nightmare, especially with the engine still in the car.

Well that just about covers it for this latest installment. Next up should be another good washing so that I may buff the paint up and restore it to the factory shine. If you'd like any of the above parts for your own car, especially the turbo, send us an e-mail and we'll hook you up!

Stay tuned! Check back frequently as we upgrade our MkIV Supra with much more in store, plus provide extensive and detailed progress write-ups, pictures, and general updates. As always, check out our shop at www.SupraStore.com and email me or Andrew for the best parts, the best prices, and the best service!
